peace & justice
We live in a world where we are constantly experiencing suffering due to injustice. We might not realize how a feeling of powerlessness weighs on us. Often we need to turn off the TV, or get off social media to protect ourselves from feelings of being overwhelmed with helplessness or frustration.
The best part about training and practicing in the discipline of social work is that we have a professional ethical value to be committed to social justice and vulnerable individuals.
I can help you differentiate feelings of being trapped in helplessness from your power to make a difference. I can assist you in honing your power, so you can attune to what you can do to contribute to your community.
I have also personally committed to contributing 10% of earnings to Child Welfare Advocacy and Youth in Foster Care.
